I was starting to get away from the strict rules of old world architecture as I felt that a cleaner, more transitional look was needed. This custom home for a developer was the right project to take that action. Simple crown moulds, a simple 1 x 6 base board and smooth wall texture on the interior of the house made for a clean timeless look.
